On September 26 and 27,
the Ross companies conducted a Household Hazardous Waste project for
a customer that was providing a valuable community service to its
employees and community. The results were outstanding!
A representative of the
customer had nothing but praise for the Ross associates who assisted
with this event. They were impressed with everything including our
bid package and our organization of the project. They even said that
they were especially impressed with the professionalism of our associates
who worked at the site to collect, package and ship the materials
back to Ross Incineration. In fact, they said the Ross associates
who worked at the site were the most professional they have every
had working at this collection event.
During the two day collection
event, Ross associates off-loaded about 490 cars and trucks, which
generated about two and half semi truck loads of material. On September
26, employees of the sponsoring company (our customer) brought their
HHW materials to the collection. Then, on September 27, the collection
event was open to residents of the community in which the sponsoring
company is located. This helped our customer to improve its relationship
with both its employees and its local community.
