Ross
Environmental Services providest incineration services through its sister
company, Ross Incineration Services, Inc. Ross Incineration
was one of the first commercial incineration firms in the United States,
utilizing high temperature thermal destruction as its primary treatment
method. Since 1949, the company has been a leader in the development
and design of innovative waste handling and incineration methods and
technology.
Operational
Flexibility
The
incineration system is designed with operational flexibility that enables
the processing of many types of waste in many different types of containers
including cartons, pails, pallets, drums and gaylords. These containers
can be steel, plastic, fiber, cardboard, aluminum and tin. In addition,
RIS also accepts bulk materials in hoppers, roll-offs and totes.
Accepting
a Wide Range of Wastes
Ross Incineration accepts
hazardous and non-hazardous RCRA wastes. The
spectrum of wastes accepted includes:
- Liquids -A wide range
of liquids from those easiest to process to the most complex and hazardous.
- Solids - A variety of
solids such as rags, debris and paints to highly toxic, highly reactive,
highly odorous, heat sensitive, non-compatible and high-metal wastes.
- Aerosols - Processing
of aerosols of any standard size and in any condition.
